  Betty Lohr, 78, of Stoystown died Sept. 2, 2001 at home.  Born Feb.
  18, 1923, in Wilbur, the daughter of Russell and Martha (McElhenny)
  Lohr.  Preceded in death by parents, husband Harrison "Jerry", infant
  daughter Paula, and a brother Warren Lohr.  Survived by these
  children, Lon, married to the former Gladys Brant, Stoystown, Scott,
  married to the former Christine Sotosky, Hooversville, and Marcia,
  Alexandria, Va.; grandchildren: Gina, Brad, and Jodi Lohr.  Lisa
  Hoyman, and Tracy Knecht; great-grandchildren: Cody and Tyler Hoyman
  and Nathan and Mitchell Knecht.  Member of Grace Lutheran Church,
  Stoystown; a charter member of Robert P. Hite Post 257 Legion
  Auxiliary.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held
  at 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Walter L. Startzel officiating.  Interment
  Otterbein Cemetery, Wilbur.  Legion Auxiliary service at 8 p.m.
  Tuesday.  In lieu of flowers contributions many be given to Otterbein
  United Methodist or Grace Lutheran Church, Stoystown, Pa.  15563.
