      Charles "Tom" Lohr, 73 of Berlin, formerly of Garrett, died October 24, 2008 at
  Somerset Hospital. 
      He was born August 4, 1935 in Garrett, son of the late Durbin "Red" and Hilda
  (Drenner) Lohr. Also preceded in death by a sister, Audrey "Sis" Christner. 
      He is the brother of: Gary "Skip" Lohr, Covington, GA; Bob Lohr, Meyersdale; Donald
  "Butch" Lohr, Rehoboth Beach, DE; Bernie Garkovich, Cuyahoga Falls, OH; Sallie Kelly,
  Adamsburg; Betty Hoover, Garrett; Jan Saylor, Berlin; Patricia Decker, Garrett; and
  Theresa Modrak, Rockwood. 
      A special uncle to Mike, Mark and Troy Lohr. Also survived by numerous nieces and
  nephews. 
      Tom was a retired crane operator for Christy Park Steel Mill in McKeesport. 
      Friends were received Sunday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service was
  conducted Monday, with the Rev. Frank E. Harpster III officiating. 
      Interment Highland Cemetery Garrett.
