Lohr, 72, of Jenner Township, died Jan. 25, 2003 at Patriot Manor. Born April 8, 1930 in Jenner Township, son of the late Walter E. and Isabell (Fee) Lohr. Survived by wife of 50 years, the former Almeda Blough; children Douglas C., Yvonne K., married to Barry Landis, Bradley W., married to the former Colleen Luttrell, and Cheryl A., married to Tom Deist, all of Jenner Twp., grandchildren Leah M., Jill R., Allison L., and Delaney L., and sister Margarie Shaulis, Jenner Township. A U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War. A welder for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., car shop division, Johnstown plant. Owner/operator of the former Arctic Cat Snowmobile Sales. Member of the Laurel Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Jennerstown, where he served on the church council. A board member for the former Jenner-Boswell School District and an avid wood worker. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell. Friends also received from 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Trinity Church. The Rev. Jacquelyn M. Ahern officiating. Interment Mount Zion Cemetery, Jenner Township.
