Lohr, son of the late William J. and Mary Bittner Lohr, died at his home in Bridgeton, N.J., on Easter Sunday morning. He had been an invalid for years and for several months had been confined to his bed. Mr. Lohr was born in Garrett where he lived for years. After his marriage to Miss Margaret Beveridge, also of Garrett, he moved to Somerset where he lived for many years. He was a meat cutter for the American Stores and was also associated in business with A. M. Glessner, operating a grocery and meat store in Somerset. Sometime later Mr. Lohr and his family moved to Meyersdale where he operated a meat market for a short while. Six years ago he moved to Bridgeton, N.J., where he was employed until his health failed. Surviving is his wife, Margaret Beveridge Lohr and one son, Ellsworth, a petty officer in the United States Navy. Another son, Kenneth, was killed in an automobile accident less than two years ago. One brother, John, is living in Ohio; his other brothers, Harvey, Walter and Hiram, and a sister, Mae, are dead. The funeral services were conducted at his home, Tuesday afternoon, at 2:30.
