All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ ELIZABETH PRITTS LOHR Mrs. Elizabeth Pritts Lohr, wife of the late Albert Lohr of Garrett, died Tuesday morning, February 18, in the Community Hospital in Painesville, Ohio. "Aunt Lizzie," as she was affectionately known by many people in Garrett, was the daughter of the late Jacob and Catherine Atcheson Pritts of Garrett, and was born in Brothersvalley Township in 1868. Her husband died 35 years ago. She is survived by the following named children: Mary Lohr Snyder, Edith Lohr Snyder, Lawrence Lohr and William Lohr, all of Painesville; Stella Lohr Lee, Willoughby, Ohio, and by three brothers and one sister: Samuel Pritts and Charles Pritts, of Garrett; Noah Pritts, Meyersdale and Mrs. Annie Pritts Sevits, Berlin; also by 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. During the past 20 years Mrs. Lohr lived in Painesville at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Snyder. Her body was brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Robertson in Meyersdale, last Thursday. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Saturday, in Grace Evangelical and Reformed Church, Garrett, of which she was a member. In the absence of the pastor, Rev. F. D. Witmer, Rev. J. E. Gindlesperger of Meyersdale, officiated. Interment was made in the Ridge View Cemetery, Garrett, under direction of H. R. Konhaus. Out-of-town people who attended the rites were Victor Snyder and family, Charles Snyder and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lohr and daughter Ruth, and sons Edward and Lawrence, and Mr. and Mrs. William Lohr, all of Painesville, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Lee, Willoughby, Ohio; Mr. and Mrs. James Fenner, Mrs. Clara Snyder, Geneva, Ohio; George Christner and family, Cumberland, Md.; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Werner and Edward Pritts and son, Clark Pritts, of Meyersdale and Mrs. Walter Wills of Westernport, Md.
