Lohr, 64, of 90 Oak St., Bridgeton, Indiana, died in Bridgeton Hospital March 20 after a brief illness. Born in Garrett, he was the husband of Eileen (Bangerd) Lohr and the son of the late Earl and Margaret (Beveridge) Lohr. Mr. Lohr was retired from the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. this past year after having 22 years of service with the company where he worked in the quality control department. A Bridgeton resident 37 years, he formerly lived in Meyersdale. Mr. Lohr was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Golden Emblem Club of the Owens Co. In addition to his widow, he is survived by: four daughters, Donna Nimitzek, Roadstown Road, Peggy Nardi, Millville, Bette Roork, Hampton Street and Terri Lohr, at home; nine grandchildren and his mother-in-law, Alma Donahue, Meyersdale. Services were held at the Freitag Funeral Home with the Rev. Harry L. Holfelder, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial was in Fernwood Memorial Park.
