  Emery G. Lohr, 94, Jennerstown, died Jan. 26, 1986, at home.  Born
  Sept. 12, 1891, in Shade Township, son of Newton J. and Susan (Lowry)
  Lohr.  Preceded in death by parents, one sister and one brother. 
  Survived by widow, the former Anna Griffith; two daughters: Sara
  Jane, wife of Harry Handwork, Alum Bank; Lolalee, wife of Ray Wagner,
  Paola, Kan.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Carrie Berkebile, Lancaster.  Member of UMWA Local 1023 Cairnbrook,
  and Jennerstown Volunteer Fire Department.  Charter member of
  Stoystown Post 257 American Legion, Army Veteran of World War I. 
  Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral
  Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell, where service will be held at 11
  a.m. Wednesday, with the Rev. Samuel J. Weible officiating. 
  Interment, Jenner Crossroads Cemetery.
