  Mrs. Ethel V. Lohr, 74, of Cannell Drive, Somerset, died Sept. 1 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born in New Centerville, May
  27, 1898, the daughter of the late Levi and Lavina Dieffenderfer
  Harding.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Maurer,
  a daughter, and two brothers.  She is survived by her second husband
  Nelson W.; a daughter, Annabel, wife of John M. McCoy of
  Hollidaysburg; a son William R. of Somerset, RD 5; four
  grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Hixon
  of Ebensburg and Mrs. Bertha Fletcher of Saginaw, Mich.; and a brother
  Clyde Harding of Ashtabula, Ohio.  Friends are being received in the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home where services will be conducted
  today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Gary Bilbie.  Interment in Husband
  Cemetery.
