    Evelyn N. Lohr, 71, of Stonycreek Township, died June 5, 2001, at
  her residence.  Born Feb. 24, 1930, in Boswell, the daughter of
  William R. and Cora E. (Shroyer) Swope.  Preceded in death by her
  parents, infant brother William H. Swope, and a sister Cora Belle
  Gindlesberger.  Survived by her husband of 51 years, David L. Lohr;
  children Gayle, married to Paul Miller, Friedens; Bonnie, married to
  Haldor "Butch" Miller, Somerset; Cynthia, married to Kenneth
  Browning, Manns Choice; and Kelly, married to the former Kelly
  Mankamyer, Stonycreek Township; 9 grandchildren; sisters Genevieve,
  married to Robert S. Lint, Stonycreek Township, and Winifred E.
  (Beener) McDonald, Jennerstown.  Member of St. Mark Lutheran Church,
  Shanksville.  Retired school bus driver for the
  Shanksville-Stonycreek School District, and was a graduate of the
  former Boswell High School.  Evelyn enjoyed gardening, reading,
  crafts and sewing.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to
  9 p.m. Thursday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, and from 9:30
  a.m. until 10:30 a.m., the time of service, Friday at St. Mark's
  Lutheran Church, Shanksville.  Rev. Steven Caler officiating. 
  Interment, Hoffman Church Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be
  sent to "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501
