Lohr, 77, Somerset, formerly of Johnstown, died March 19, 1999, at his home. Born Aug. 8, 1921, in Jeannette, son of the late Lawrence E. and Lottie (Lauffer) Lohr. Preceded in death by son, the Rev. Craig Lohr, on Sept. 23, 1991, and brothers George F. and William S. Lohr. Survived by wife, the former Mary Elizabeth Baker, Somerset; sons Dennis A. Lohr, married to the former Genise Osborn, Greenwood, Ind., and the Rev. Keith H. Lohr, married to the former Debra Weimer, Somerset; daughter-in-law Janet, widow of the Rev. Craig Lohr, Johnstown; and grandchildren Michelle, Jennifer, Sarah and Kevin Lohr. Member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Retired minister, having served in active ministry for 37 years. Was director of Bethany United Methodist men's prayer breakfast for five years. U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Friends were received Sunday and Monday at Bethany United Methodist Church, Leventry Road, where service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday. The Rev. Charles Goodin officiating. Interment, Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Tarrs, Westmoreland County. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations be made to Bethany United Methodist Church or Camp Allegheny.
