Lohr, 63, Boswell RD 2 (formerly of Youngstown, Pa.) died Sunday morning at Somerset Community Hospital. Born March 26, 1915 in Cook Township, he was a son of the late Jefferson and Hattie (Queer) Lohr. He was a former employee of Carbidie Inc., Irwin. He was a member of the Church of God, Youngstown, Pa. Preceded in death by grandson, Lester Francis Lohr Jr. and also by one sister, Mary Rugh. Survived by wife, Thelma Jean Brant, one son, Lester F., Latrobe; one daughter, Mrs. Burton Wade (Gloria) Maus, Boswell RD 2; seven grandchildren, two sisters: Mrs. Herman (Stella) Schroder, Youngstown and Mrs. Charles Blanche Keltz, Latrobe; three brothers: Leroy, Latrobe RD 5 and Paul and Charles, both of Youngstown. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Snyder Funeral Home (Rt. 982 South of Rt. 30 Cloverleaf) Latrobe. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of God, Youngstown. Bishop Samuel Kramer officiating. Interment will follow in the Youngstown Cemetery.
