Born July 26, 1911, in Kimmelton, Quemahoning Township, Somerset County, daughter of the late David H. and Mary (Hazel) Specht. Preceded in death by husband, Harold George Lohr who died March 12, 1954 and three sisters: Evelyn Lape, Phyllis Shaffer and Freda Berkebile. Survived by these children: Mrs. Connie Berkebile-Gerwatoski, Somerset, Mrs. Jerry (Carol) Clark, Maple Heights, Ohio; Jerry S. Lohr married to the former Carlene Humphries, Frederick, Md.; and 10 grandchildren: Scott and Bradley Berkebile; Jeffrey, Timothy and Kelly Clark; Pamela DiBauda, Tracy Dufour, Jill Isanogle, Gerri, Lynn and Kimberly Lohr, and 10 great-grandchildren. Sister of David H. Specht, Windsor, Calif. A 1929 graduate of Stoystown High School and attended Indiana State Teachers College. Retired employee of the former Somerset Pajama Factory for 26 years, retiring in 1974. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday with Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr. officiating.
