Mrs. Margaret Ann Lohr died Sunday morning, Jan. 19, 1941, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Newton L. Diehl, one mile east of Somerfield on the National Pike, where she made her home. Mrs. Lohr was born at Grantsville, Md., July 15, 1850, and was aged 90 years, 6 months, 4 days at the time of her death. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Snyder. She joined the German Lutheran Church when quite young and later she joined English Lutheran Church in Cove, Md. She was married to William Lohr in 1877, and to this union four children were born: Edward, who died when quite young, Marshall Lohr, of Randolph, Ohio, Wood Lohr, of Hopwood, Pa., and Florence Diehl, Somerfield. She also had two stepdaughters of whom only one survives, Mrs. Emma B. George, of Jennerstown. One sister survives, Mrs. Thomas Stanton, of Bittinger, Md. Funeral services were held in the Lutheran Church, Addison, Pa., Tuesday morning at 10:30 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. James Shannon of Confluence. Pallbearers were Dan Henson, Troy Glass, Grant Humbertson, Scott Duckworth, George Blubaugh and Earl Turey. Interment in Addison Cemetery on the family lot beside her husband by mortician Harry B.
