Born March 24, 1907 in Stoystown, a daughter of Harry Colfax and Margaret Edna (Swartz) Barnhart. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kenneth Pearson Lohr, who died April 8, 1968, two brothers, Robert and Ivan Barnhart and one sister, Rachel Bingner. Survived by these children: Mrs. Ann Bender, widow of Richard Bender of Somerset, James B. Lohr, married to the former Patricia Fishburn of Ft. Wright Ky. Also survived by grandchildren: Dr. Jeffrey L. Bender of Albuquerque, N.M., Dr. Edward M. Bender, married to the former Joanne Tummino of Johnstown; Mrs. Phillip (Alice Diane) Albanese of Bexley, Ohio, Miss Valerie B. Lohr of Norcross, Ga.; and great grandchildren, Adam and Nicole Bender and Amanda Albanese. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset, 1925 graduate of Somerset High School, 1927 graduate of Cambria Rowe Business College. Member of Somerset Welfare League, former charter member of Somerset Country Club, was an active bridge player and golfer. Retired in 1971 as a clerical supervisor for the Somerset office, Department of Public Assistance. Friends will be received from 2:30-4:30 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. Robert L.
