S. D. Sigler, pastor of the church, and Rev. E. E. Owney, Pittsburgh, officiated and interment was in the Grantsville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Reichenbecher, William Menges, J. R. Gnagey, Melchor Georg and Harvey Gortner, Grantsville, and Lewis Smearman, Meyersdale. Mrs. Lohr died Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 14, at her home at Randolph, O., after a lingering illness. She was a native of Garrett County, having been born at Jennings, Nov. 22, 1877. She was 63 years of age. She and Mr. Lohr had been married thirty-four years. She had lived in this section practically all of her life. For about thirty years they resided on a farm at Keysers Ridge, but moved to Ohio four years ago, where they have since made their home. She was a member of the Addison Lutheran Church. Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons and two daughters, Harry Lohr, Washington, D.C.; Ray Lohr, Grantsville; Earl Lohr and Edna Lohr, Randolph, O., and Mrs. Bernard M. Knecht, Akron, Ohio; one sister, Myrtle Custer, Jennings; three brothers, Stephen and Nathan Custer, Jennings, and Olen Custer, Akron; and five grandchildren. Meyersdale Republican, January 23, 1941
