Lohr, 76, Boswell RD 2, died unexpectedly evening of Jan. 22, 1982, at home. Born April 25, 1905, in Avilton, Md., daughter of Elmer and Florence (Wampler) Lancaster. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Josiah H., who died in 1967; also three brothers, Stanley, Homer, and Daniel Sheridan Lancaster. Survived by adopted daughter, Crystal, at home. Foster mother to 25 including: Guy Shroyer, at home; Marlene Kramer, Johnstown; Joann Danielli, Hollsopple; Dorothy Barnick, Boswell RD 2; and Marsha Barchey, Mesa, Ariz.; nine foster grandchildren. Sister of: Ethel Foster, Zanesville, Ohio; Victor, Mrs. Ida Russell and Mrs. Gladys Griffith, all of Boswell RD 3; Elsie Layton, Jerome; and Ellis, Medford, Oregon. Recipient of Children's Aid Society plaque for 31 years of caring and providing a foster family home. Friends were received from 7-9 p.m. Sunday and will be received until 9 p.m. Monday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell, where services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev.
