  LOHR
  
    Ward E. Lohr, 89, of Newburg, Md. died May 30, 2001 at Genises
  Nursing Home, LaPlata, Md.  He was born May 21, 1912 in Garrett, a
  son of the late Miles E. and Anna G. (Briskey) Lohr.  He was preceded
  in death by wives Clara May (Habel) and Anna (Hummel) Lohr and brother
  John Lohr.  He is survived by a son Frank Lohr of Newburg, Md., two
  grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Also sister Juanita Lohr
  Miller of Garrett, sister-in-law Viola Lohr of Garrett.  He was a
  veteran of World War II and a retired steel worker in Johstown. 
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in
  Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where the funeral service will be
  at 2 p.m. Saturday with Pastor Richard Yates officiating.  Interment,
  Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
