Born Feb. 28, 1911, in Garrett County, Md., a son of the late William H. and Maude (Lee) Lohr. Survived by his widow, Oma Friend, and the following children: Marie Allen of Glendale, Ariz.; Fred of Markleysburg; Elsie Nicholson of Arlington, Va.; Jane Beachy of Addison; Jean Phillippi of Manchester; and Donna Price of Jackson, N.J.; also, 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; four brother: George Lohr and Woodrow Lohr, both of Friendsville, Md.; Pete Lohr of Hyattsville, Md.; and Keith Lohr of Fort Wayne, Ind.; three sisters: Ethel Seibert of Hagerstown, Md.; Freida Van Sheetz and Wilma Walkefield, both of Friendsville, Md. Predeceased by one grandchild. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Addison. Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Saturday and after 10 a.m. Sunday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where services will be held Monday at p.m. with the Rev. David Bomboy officiating.
