  LONG
  
    Blanche K. Long, 85, of Meyersdale RD 3, formerly of Berlin RD 1,
  died Sept. 17, 1995, at Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born July 24,
  1910, in Stonycreek Township.  Daughter of Ellis and Dillie (Snyder)
  Kimmel.  Preceded in death by parents; husband Clyde O., and brother,
  Johnathan Kimmel.  Survived by these children: Wayne, married to
  former Paula Gallo, Stoystown RD 3; David, married to former Kathleen
  Brant, Stoystown RD 1; Carol, married to Wendell Bowman, Fairhope RD
  1; Thomas E., married to former Barbara Long; Herbert, married to
  former Susie Long, and C. Owen, married to former Cindi Moser, all of
  Meyersdale RD 3.  Grandchildren: Megan, Melissa, Matthew, Brenden,
  Darnel, Christiana, Carrie, Chad, Todd, Kelsey, Derick and Janelle
  Long.  Sister of Ida S. and Harold E. Kimmel, both of Berlin RD 1,
  and Margaret Kimmel of Somerset.  Graduate of Berlin High School and
  California State Teachers College.  Retired Berlin Brothersvalley and
  Stoneycreek Township schoolteacher.  Former Stonycreek Township dairy
  farmer along with her husband.  Member of Berlin Brethren Church,
  where she served as deaconess and taught Sunday School.  Member of
  the Women's Missionary Society and Golden Age Class.  Also attended
  Meyersdale Church of the Brethren.  Member of Pomona Grange and
  Friedens Grange.  Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Bryan G.
  Karchner.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the
  American Cancer Society.
