Born Oct. 23, 1903, in Black Township. Son of the late Jeremiah and Amelia (Ringler) Long. Preceded in death by four sisters, two brothers and a daughter Amelia Jane Glessner. Survived by wife of 56 years, the former Pearl G. Bittner; daughter, Mrs. Jay (Myra Lillian) Hemminger, of Somerset RD 1, and son Charles Milton Jr., of Scottdale. Also three grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Nora Mae Titcomb of West View Nursing Home, Scottdale, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was a former coal worker, farmer and retired Pennsylvania Department of Transportation employee. Member of the United Church of Christ, Rockwood. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
