Born March 22, 1907, in Black Township. Daughter of the late Isaiah and Catherine Naomi (Weimer) Baker. Also preceded in death by husband, Telford L. Long, who died March 8, 1958; brothers: Charles and Clarence Baker; sisters: Mae Pletcher-Wigfield, June Walker, and Ruth Gindlesberger. Survived by children: Mrs. Robert G. (Doris L.) Rayman of Somerset, James L. Long, married to the former Marilyn Menser, of Allentown, and Mrs. James (Sandra K.) Smen of Blairsville; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. Sister of Kenneth Baker of Rockwood and Mrs. Pauline DuPont of Rockwood. Member of First United Methodist Church, Somerset. Life member of the Somerset Historical Society. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Patricia Nelson officiating and the Rev. Dr. Arthur Gotjen. Interment, St. John's Cemetery. Contributions may be made to First United Methodist, 149 West Patriot St., Somerset, Pa 15501.
