  LONG, Harold Tennyson Sr. 09/01/07  Daily American
  
   Harold Tennyson Long Sr., 96, Friedens, went to be with the Lord, his wife and son on
  Aug. 31, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born April 1, 1911, in Summit Township, a son of
  Josiah Long and Florence Boyles. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Rebecca (Pyle) Long,
  who died Feb. 6, 2005; son, Ronald E. Long; and brothers, Herman Long and Glenn Long.
  Survived by Mrs. Dale (Beverly) Durst, York; Mrs. August (Alzene) Heining, Latrobe;
  Robert J. Long, Friedens; Kenneth Long, married to the former Carol Kelly, Somerset;
  Harold T. Long, Somerset; Mrs. Mary Friedline, Somerset; Thomas L. Long, married to the
  former Carol Friedline, Friedens; and daughter-in-law, Valerie (Shaulis) Long, Somerset;
  15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also survived by sister, Dorothy
  Shaulis and husband, Clyde, Somerset. Was the founder, owner and operator of Long's
  Spraying Service for over 70 years. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted 10 a.m. Tuesday.
