Born June 21, 1885 in Quemahoning Township, he was a son of the late Daniel and Carrie (Fisher) Long. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Florence Stull; and a second wife, Agnes Ringler; also by four brothers. He is survived by the following children: Glenn of Nashville, Tenn.; Mrs. Clyde (Dorothy) Shaulis of Somerset; Harold T. of Friedens RD 1; Herman of Berlin; 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was a brother of Mrs. Ada Scott of Connellsville; Irvin of South Carolina. Friends were received at the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services were conducted with the Rev. Richard Shellenberger officiating. Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery, Salisbury. Contributions may be made to Wilhelm-St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Salisbury RD.
