Daniel W. Long, two miles west of Meyersdale, April 25th, of pneumonia. He took to his bed only four days before his demise. He had been in fairly good health prior to that, and helped his son with the farm work. Mr. Long had been a farmer nearly all his life. In 1913 he disposed of his farm and moved into Garrett Borough. After the death of his wife, some years ago, he made his home with his son and assisted him with the work on his farm. He is survived by the son named above and two daughters, Mrs. Daniel Brant, who lives near Tip's Inn, and Mrs. Edward Sharrah, of Brotherton. Funeral services were held at the home of his son, April 28th, followed by interment in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin. Johnson & Son of Berlin were the undertakers in charge.
