Long, 75, of Friedens RD 2, died April 10, 1987, in Jenners. Born Feb. 12, 1912, in Lincoln Township, daughter of the late George T. and Alice (Fritz) Hemminger. Preceded in death by her husband, Dwight W. Long, in 1985; a daughter, Betty Countryman; a brother, Earl Hemminger; a sister, Edna Hemminger; an infant daughter and an infant granddaughter. Survived by two children: Pauline Koontz of Jenners; and William D. Long, married to former Palma Nicholson of Rockwood; five grandchildren; Rex, married to former Mary Jean Smith; and Monica, married to William Shawley; Tracey, LeAnne and Jeff; and two great-grandsons, Billy and Matthew; two sisters, Mrs. Odessa Swank of Maple Mountain Manor and Mrs. Irene Landis of Shanksville. Member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Rebecca Bible Class, Silver and Gold Senior Citizens and Trinity Lutheran Church Widows Support Group. A retired cafeteria worker for Shanksville School District. Friends will be received 3-9 p.m. Sunday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service Tuesday at Friedens Lutheran Church at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James R.
