  Pearl G. Long, 84, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of
  Somerset Towers, died March 29, 1998 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Oct.
  16, 1913 in Boynton, daughter of the late Robert P. and Cora Susan
  (Ross) Bittner.  Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Milton
  Long in 1990 and a daughter, Amelia Jane Glessner in 1998; brothers
  Leonard, Orren, Henry and George Bittner; sisters, Nancy Walters and
  Sarah Zablotney.  Survived by children, Mrs. Jay (Myra) Hemminger, of
  Somerset, and Charles M. Long Jr., married to the former Cathy
  Hausele; 3 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Member of Grace
  Brethren Church, Somerset and a charter member of the Sweet 60's. 
  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Tuesday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, where funeral
  service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday.  Rev. Mark DeSilva
  officiating.  Interment Somerset County Memorial Park.
