    Ralph Milton "Corney" Long Sr., 98, of Somerset died Jan. 31, 2001
  at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, Somerset.  Born Oct. 16, 1902 in
  Tom's Brook, Va.  Son of Charles Robert and Mattie Emma (Fravel)
  Long.  Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Olive Mae Barron
  who died Feb. 15, 1998; son Richard Milton Long; three sisters, Eva V.
  Long, Frenchy Long and Bessie Long, and brother Raymond Long. 
  Survived by children: Charles W. Long married to the former Martha
  Brant of Somerset; Mrs. Martha Gilbert, Friedens; Mrs. Sara Jane
  Smith, Somerset; Mrs. Shelby Rhodes, Acme, and Ralph Milton Long Jr.,
  married to the former Brenda Brandt, Mechanicsburg.  Also 16
  grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and eight
  great-great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs. Arlene Moore of Somerset
  and brother John R. Long of York.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
  past member of F.O.E. Aerie 1801 of Somerset.  Auto salesman for
  Herring Motor Co. retiring in 1980.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. Robert L. Hoover
  Jr. officiating.  Interment, Friedens Cemetery.  Contributions may be
  made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 918, Tayman Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
