Married to Roberta (Newman) Long, who died in 1964; second wife, Louise (Searfoss) Long, who died in 1977; and he is survived by present wife, Lonietta (Fenninger) Long. Born in Berlin, Somerset County, he was a son of the late William Roy and Julia Belle (Lease) Long. Army veteran of World War II. Member of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church and a graduate of Berlin High School. He was employed as a product engineer for 28 years by Calder Mfg., Lancaster, where he retired in 1980. A member of the American Legion, Ephrata. In addition he is survived by five stepchildren, 18 step-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Geneva C., wife of Jacob Hillegas, and Janet A. Long, both of Willow Valley, Willow Street, Pa. Funeral services Gravenor Home for Funerals Inc.; 100 W.
