Long, 57, of Arendtsville, died Dec. 18, 2001 at her home. Born July 4, 1944, in Shanksville, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Nellie (Remmel) Long. She leaves one son, Ernest Hause II, of Meyersdale, and two daughters, Jessica Hause of Meyersdale, and Daphne James of Rome, Pa., and one brother, David Long of Minersville. She was formerly married to Ernest Hause of Meyersdale. Following cremation, there will be a memorial service and burial in the Somerset County Memorial Park, at the convenience of the family. The John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St., York, is in charge of the arrangements. She was born July 4, 1944 in Berlin, the daughter of the late Guy and Nellie Long. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Rice of York Springs, and Charlotte Spangler of Johnstown. Survived by children, Daphne Leigh James of Jerome, Jessica Ann Hause of Jerome and Ernest F. Hause II of Meyersdale and four grandchildren. Survived by brother David Long of Meyersdale, and Carolyn Custer, Berlin, a friend. Memorial service will be held at the Grace Brethren Church in Reading Mines at 10 a.m. Saturday.
