Born Sept. 17, 1951, in Connellsville, a daughter of Norman Patterson Jr. and Evelyn Ruth (Richter) Brown, Somerset. Preceded in death by father; brothers, Lloyd "Butch" Brown and James A. Brown. Survived by dear friend, Terry Kelley, Somerset; children, Mrs. Bradley (Ronna) Yablonski, Somerset; Mrs. Michael (Tammy) Pressley, Edgewood, Md.; and William Basinger Jr. and wife, Stacey, Acme; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Christopher Yablonski, Bethenee Snuffer, David Snuffer II and Jonathan Pressley. Also survived by Michael D. Long, Somerset; brothers and sisters, Norman P. Brown III and wife, Shirley, Mill Run; Mrs. John (Betty) Holden, Jacksonville, Fla.; Leroy Brown and wife, Catherine, Connellsville and Mrs. William (Patricia) May, Mill Run. Also survived by numerous other family and friends who will miss her. Attended Calvary United Methodist Church. Owner/operator of Bittner-Long Floral and Greenhouses, Somerset for more than 20 years. Friends received from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where a service will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Raymond E. Lyon officiating.
