Born July 20, 1892 in Johnstown, he was a son of the late John and Ida (Saly) Lorditch. Surviving are two brothers, Robert G., Meyersdale; and John D. Lorditch, El Paso, Texas; and a sister, Mrs. John Marshall, Denver, Colo. Mr. Lorditch was a retired railroad conductor, with 41 years of service with Republic Steel in Johnstown. He was a regular contributor to Meyersdale Free Library. Funeral mass was held Wednesday morning in Sts. Philip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, with Rev. Clark George officiating.
