  Lorence
  
  Mrs. Evelyn M. Lorence, 61, of Stoystown RD 2, died Jan. 8, 1983, at
  home.  Born Nov. 1, 1921, in Shade Township, a daughter of the late
  William and Lillian (Houle) Buchanan.  Survived by husband, Stanley,
  whom she married Oct. 14, 1940; and these children: Ronald W.,
  married to Norma Mervin, Johnstown; Mrs. Bert (Pat) Croyle, Stoystown
  RD 1; Mrs. Richard (Donna) Koontz, Somerset RD 7; five
  grandchildren.  Sister of Robert, Stoystown; Donald, Wilbur; Mrs. Ray
  (Ruby) Weigle, Lillie; and Mrs. Stanley (Betty) Stopa, Central City. 
  Member of Otterbein United Methodist Church, Wilbur.  She was
  formerly employed by Best Form of Windber.  Family received friends
  Sunday and will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to Otterbein
  United Methodist Church to be in state from noon until services at 1
  p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating.  Interment,
  Otterbein Cemetery.
