Lorenzen, 78, Salisbury, died Jan. 1, 1981, in Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born Jan. 25, 1902 in Houtzdale, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Forsythe) Lorenzen. Survived by his wife, the former Dorothy G. Bowser; and one daughter, Mrs. Dolly West, Salisbury; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury; a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh; and a former teacher and principal at Windber High School. Member of the Sunnehanna Lodge F and AM, Williamsport Consistory, and Jaffa Shrine of Altoona. Owner of Salisbury Service Center until his retirement. Friends will be received Saturday from 2-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Maurice R. Smith Jr. officiating.
