Lovelace, 80, Somerset, formerly of Listie, passed on April 7, 2006, at Somerset Hospital. Born January 23, 1926, in Listie, he is the son of the late Roy Lovelace and Edna (Wills) Lovelace Fotta. He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Andrew Fotta; and sisters, Betty Rowell and Aquilla Durst. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patty (Henzie) Lovelace; daughter, Cathy VanDeusen; and son, Gregory Lovelace and fiancˇe, Donna, all of Somerset. He is a veteran of the U.S Army. in World War II and the Korean War and is a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a retired furniture refinisher who was employed by Penn Furniture. He was a member of the Grace Brethren Church in Somerset and was a member of the Somerset American Legion Post 181. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset. Pastors Shimer Darr and Ronzil Jarvis officiating. Military Rites will be accorded by the Somerset County Honor Guard. Interment at Husband Cemetery.
