Funeral services were held in the family home March 20. Rev. Robert L. Greynolds, pastor of Ridgeley Calvary Methodist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. H. R. Wriston, pastor of the Friendsville Methodist Church. Interment was made in the Addison, Pa., cemetery. Mr. Lowdermilk worked in the lumber business during his entire adult lifetime. He was a native of Hoyes, Garrett County, Md., the son of the late Lloyd and Sarah (Riley) Lowdermilk. He was an industrious upright citizen and member of the Methodist Church for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel (Griffith) Lowdermilk, one son, Lloyd Lowdermilk of Bruceton, W.Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Selby, Selbysport; two sisters, Mrs. W. E. Hollinger, Smithville, Ohio, and Mrs. Margaret Enlow, Cumberland, Md., and a brother, Roy Lowdermilk, also of Cumberland. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
