    Albert Thomas Lowery, 65, Meyersdale, died unexpectedly Tuesday,
  Aug. 29, while fishing at Lake Gordon, in the Cumberland Valley,
  Bedford RD 3.
    Born near Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Henry P. and Della
  (Harding) Lowery.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Laura Brant; seven children:
  Airman 1/C Raymond Lowery, with the Air Force in Viet Nam; Richard
  Lowery, Mrs. Joyce Saylor and Mrs. Jean Diehl, all of Meyersdale;
  Donald Lowery, Meyersdale RD 1; Mrs. Evelyn Houston, Meyersdale RD 3;
  and Mrs. Betty Emerick, Glencoe RD 1; 28 grandchildren and two
  great-grandchildren.  He was a brother of George Lowery, Meyersdale
  RD 4; Harvey Lowery, Youngstown, Ohio; and Mrs. Ethel Mimma, Herald,
  Ohio.
    Funeral service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on
  Saturday afternoon, with Rev. Harry Cumberland officiating, followed
  by interment in Union Cemetery.
