  LOWERY
  
    Althea D. Lowery, 83, of Meyersdale died April 1, 2001 at Conemaugh
  Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born March 6, 1918 in Sand
  Patch.  A daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Louise (Lottig)
  Sturtz.  Also preceded in death by two brothers: Albert and Ellis
  Sturtz.  Survived by husband of 61 years, Kenneth L. Lowery; daughter
  Judy, wife of David Hall, Fredericksburg, Va.; three grandchildren,
  Bernard W. Oravec Jr., Kenny A. Oravec, and Kimberly A. Williams, and
  a great-grandson Connor Williams.  A sister of: Carl Sturtz, Akron,
  Ohio; Josephine King, Machsney Park, Ill.; and Geraldine Eger,
  Pittsburgh.  A member of the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren. 
  Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service
  will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Emory Scholl
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
