  April 19, 1911-February 17, 2004
  
    Clara L. Cook Lowery, 92, of Meyersdale, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004,
  at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
    Born April 19, 1911, in Larimer Twp., she was a daughter of the late
  Francis and Mary (Shoemaker) Gomer.
    She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Lloyd Cook,
  and her second husband, Raymond W. Lowery; a sister, Alpha Carey; a
  brother, Irvin Gomer; and granddaughter, Jennifer Anne.
    She is survived by these children: Robert J. Cook and his wife Lee,
  Schertz, Texas; George F. Cook and his wife Anna, Meyersdale; Anna C., wife
  of Ronald Kimble, Meyersdale; Rose M. Wiland, Somerset; Lester Cook and his
  wife Marlene, York; Roger Cook and his wife Teresa, Meyersdale; Harvey Cook
  and his wife Beth, Salisbury; and Carol J. Cook, with whom Clara resided in
  Meyersdale; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
    Clara was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a former employee of
  Meyersdale Manufacturing, Flushing Shirt Factory in Grantsville, Md., J.B.
  Shirt Factory and Meals On Wheels.
    Friends were received Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale,
  where service will be  conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, (today) with the
  Rev. Bruce Ashlock officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
    Arrangements by the William Rowe Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale.

  Clara L. Cook Lowery, 92, of Meyersdale, died Feb. 17, 2004, at Memorial
  Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born April 19, 1911, in Larimer Township, a

  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale where service will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday.  The Rev. Bruce
  Ashlock officiating.  Interment Union Cemetery Meyersdale.  Arrangements by
