    Emma J. Lowery, 86, of Lancaster, Pa., died in Lancaster, Sept. 30,
  1993.  Widow of Robert H. Lowery, who died in 1961.  Also preceded in
  death by five children: Merle, Robert, Elwood, Philip and Edith
  Mostoller.  Born in Berlin, Pa., June 10, 1907, the daughter of the
  late James and Elizabeth (Landis) Brady. Member of Shanksville Fire
  Company Ladies Auxiliary.  Survived by five daughters: Evelyn, wife
  of Frank Rineer, Willow Street, Pa.; Janet Carl of Lancaster; Erma,
  wife of Robert Stickles, Manheim, Pa.; Doris, wife of Edward Sivits,
  Somerset; Judith, wife of Thomas R. Sarver, Lancaster; two sons,
  Richard and Lynn F., both of Willow Street; 28 grandchildren; 23
  great grandchildren; sisters, Marie, wife of Mark Armstrong,
  Illinois; Marguerite, wife of Arno Casper, Denver, Colo.  Service
  will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Funeral Home of Fred F. Groff,
  Inc., 234 West Orange St., Lancaster, Pa.  Viewing from 9 a.m. to
  time of service.  Memorials may be sent to American Diabetes
  Association, 630 Janet Ave., Lancaster, Pa. 17601.
