  GEORGE E. LOWERY
  
    George E. Lowery, 60, Cumberland, Md., died April 19, 1979 in
  Memorial Hospital.  
    Born in Meyersdale, he was the son of the late George W. Lowery and
  Lula (Geisbert) Lowery.
    Mr. Lowery retired in 1977 after 35 years, as an engineer with the
  Chessie System.  He was a member of Potomac Lodge 100 AF&AM, the
  Cumberland Consistory of Scottish Rite Bodies, Ali Ghan Shrine
  Temple, and UTU 552.
    Surviving are two son, Gerald F. Lowery and George W. Lowery, both
  of Cumberland; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Paxton, Potomac Park; Mrs.
  Marjorie Kight, Cumberland, and five grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Kight Funeral Home.  A Masonic service
  was conducted in the funeral home.
