JOHN CHARLES LOWERY

  John Charles Lowery. 79, died Sunday afternoon at his home on Buffalo Mills, 
R.D. 1.  He was a son of John Oliver and Hanna (Miller) Lowery.
  Surviving in addition to his wife, Bessie (Barkley) Lowery, are these 
children: Rose, at home; Mrs. Charles Day, Sand Patch; Vivien, at home.
  Also these brothers and sisters: Robert Lowery, Shanksville; Wilbert Lowery, 
Somerset, R.D.; Mrs. Cora Brick, West Newton; Mrs. Carrie Bates, Waynesburg; 
Mrs. Edna Reed, North Braddock; Mildred Lowery, Ruffsdale.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 from Pleasant Ridge 
Church, the Rev. M. L. Wilt, pastor, officiating.  Interment in charge of J. N. 
Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
