She had been ill for the past ten weeks. Mrs. Lowery was the widow of the late Joseph Lowery, who died about eight years ago. She was born in Elk Lick Township and had resided for the past 36 years at the present Lowery farm. The deceased was born on October 21, 1863, a daughter of Henry and Mary (Eichorn) Wagner, both natives of Germany. She leaves one sister, Mrs. Ella Bradson, of Grantsville, Md., and an adopted son, Henry C. Wilhelm, who makes his home at the Lowery farm. She was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church. The remains were viewed at the W. C. Price & Son Funeral Home in Meyersdale until 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Services were conducted at 2:30 p.m., Thursday in the Grantsville Lutheran Church by Rev. S. D. Sigler, pastor. Interment was made in the church cemetery, under the direction of W. C.
