Hospital. He was born July 6, 1929, in Elk Lick Township, son of the late Marshall and Trellis (Hinebaugh) Lowrey. He is survived by wife, the former Catherine Philbin; and three children: Raymond of New York City and Patrick and Rita, both at home; also two brothers, Lee of New York City and Robert of Long Island, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Jane Mastralengo, also New York City; and Mrs. Margaret Pthel of Akron, Ohio. He was a member of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church of New York and a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Meyersdale American Legion and the L.O.O.M., No. 76, Meyersdale. Friends were received at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury. A Christian wake service was held at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial was held at SS. Phillip and James Catholic Church, Meyersdale, the Rev. J. Clark George officiating.
