Lowry, 70, Keystone Heights, Fla., died March 22, 2007, after an extended illness. Born Jan. 7, 1937, in Somerset, the son of Taylor and Victoria Lowry. Preceded in death by parents; and three brothers, Taylor Jr., Robert and James. Survived by his wife of 46 years, Twila (Potter) Lowry; daughters, Jill Spangler, Jersey Shore, Pa.; and Jennifer Moore, Townsend, Tenn. Also survived by sisters, Betty Lowry, Huachuca City, Ariz.; Ada Barndt, Somerset; Victoria Clark, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Mary Chambers, Keystone Heights; and brothers, John, Sunnyside, Calif.; Frank and Charles, both of Melrose, Fla.; and their families; as well as his in-laws, Robert and Elizabeth Potter, Jersey Shore; and John and Estella (Potter) Carlson, Dewey, Ariz. He served in the U.S. Army and attended the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Prior to retirement in 2000, Jack owned and operated automotive dealerships in Jersey Shore and Harrisburg, and in Sierra Vista, Ariz., and was president of Chrysler Corp.'s National Dodge Truck Rodeo Program. In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to Somerset "In-Touch" Hospice.
