  LOWRY
  
  William W. Lowry, 82, Shanksville, died Aug. 3, 1972, in residence. 
  Son of the late Edward and Kate Walker Lowry.  Preceded in death by
  two sons, Ray and Roland.  Survived by his widow, the former Winnie
  Spangler, and these children: Mrs. John (Ethel) Reese, Stoystown RD
  1; Frank, Friedens RD 2; Mrs. Lewis (Kathryn) Walker, Stoystown RD 3;
  Carl, Medford, N.J.; Telford, Shanksville; Dr. Donald, Harrisburg; and
  Kenneth of Shanksville; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.  Mr.
  Lowry was a retired farmer, member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in
  Shanksville, served on church council many years, and also served as
  a member of Shanksville-Stoneycreek School Board.
