  Dean Jerome Lucas, 65, Boswell, died Oct. 30, 2005, at Memorial Medical Center,
  Downtown Campus. Born Sept. 21, 1940 in Boswell, son of Rudy and Mary Ruthelene
  (Dietz) Lucas. Preceded in death by mother and wife, the former Patty Ann
  Sopich. Survived by father, Jerome Country Manor, children, Cheri, married to
  Rodger Shaffer and Rolande, widow of Rick Cebula; grandchildren: Misty and
  Shane Shaffer and Brennan Cebula. Brother of David and wife, Linda Lucas,
  Boswell. He was a retired foreman and examiner for a number of coal companies
  in the area. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  the George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville. A graveside service will be
  held 1 p.m. Wednesday in the family cemetery at Boswell. The Rev. Gary Anderson
  officiating.
