Lucius, 85, of Somerset died July 7, 1987, at Frick Memorial Hospital, Mt. Pleasant. He was born Jan 20, 1902, in Connellsville, a son of the late Herman E. and Elizabeth (Rosenberry) Lucius. Also preceded by a sister, Myrtle; a brother, Eugene; and twin brother, Paul. Survived by his wife, the former Ednah C. Clelland; son, Earl A. Jr. of York; and four grandchildren: Mary, Ann, Alice and Duane J. Brother of Sarah Irene Lucius, Acme. He was the last Somerset Station Freight and Express agent for the B&O Railroad. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, where he was past treasurer and board member. Member of Somerset Lodge No. 358 F.& A.M., Jaffa Temple, Altoona Consistory and the Somerset Shrine Club. Friends received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Calvary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert G. Doyle.
