Lucius, 83, Somerset, died May 22, 1988 at Somerset Community Hospital. Born April 27, 1905 in Broadford, Fayette County, daughter of the late Francis Marion and Elizabeth (Gibson) Clelland. Preceded by husband, Earl Addison Lucius, July 7, 1987; sisters, Sara Clelland and Belle Davis; brothers, George, Clifton and Francis Jr. Survived by son, Earl A. Lucius Jr., York; grandchildren; Mary, Ann, Alice and Duane J.; and step-grandchildren, Louise and David Detwiler. Sister of Miss Hazel E. Clelland and Mrs. Laurette C. Angle, both of Somerset. Member of Calvary United Methodist Church, charter member of Connellsville's Chief Tanacharison Chapter Daughters of American Colonists, Forbes Road Chapter of D.A.R., Trinity Chapter 138 O.E.S. and a past president of the Somerset Welfare League. Former buyer for Kaufman's and Gimbel's of Pittsburgh. Noted Somerset County antique dealer until her retirement in 1978. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Calvary United Methodist Church with Rev. Harry C. Sherry and Rev. Robert G. Doyle officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
