LUDWIG Funeral services for Albert Lee Ludwig, who died at his home in New Brighton, Pa., Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 26, were held the following Friday at 2 p.m. in the Hunter Edmiston Funeral Home, McKeesport. Rev. Ainsworth, pastor of the McKeesport 5th Ave. Christian Church, officiated. Interment in the McKeesport Valley Cemetery. Albert L. Ludwig was a Somerset Countian, born in Ursina, Jan. 28, 1876, a son of James Thomas and Josephine Maust Ludwig, both deceased. He was a Spanish War veteran, a retired engineer and a resident of McKeesport for 35 years. He was an active member of the 5th Ave. Christian Church, also a member of the Knights of Pythias. He is survived by his third wife, Jennie McCandless Ludwig, two daughters, Laura M. Ludwig, Aruba, West Indies (a nurse for The Standard Oil Co.) and Mrs. Elizabeth Gault of McKeesport, a step-son, Willard McCandless, New Brighton, and four grandchildren; also by a sister, Mary Ludwig Kildow, Friedens, Pa., and two brothers, John W. Ludwig, Johnstown, Pa., and Joseph F. Ludwig, Zanesville, Ohio. Meyersdale Republican, February 25, 1943 ---- ALBERT L.
