  LUDY
  
    Jacob B. "Ben" Ludy, 77, of Berlin died March 12, 1994, in Elk Lick
  Township.  Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Northampton Township.  Son of Jacob
  and Mary (Todd) Ludy.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers,
  William, Charles, Carl, and Edwin, and sister, Sarah Smith.  Survived
  by his wife of 53 years, the former Violet Tidenburg; son, Larry,
  married to the former Judy Deal; Waynesboro; grandchildren: Michele
  Angevine, Jennifer Gardner and Larry Jr.  Great-grandchildren: Renee
  and Christopher Angevine and David Gardner.  Brother of James and
  Victor G., both of Berlin; Elizabeth DeLozier, Cumberland, Md.; Anna
  Leister, Harry and Noah J., all of Glencoe; Frank, Williamsport; Mary
  Trent, Friedens; Elaine Werner, Annandale, Va.; Darlene K. Shultz,
  Farrell, and Sandra Nicholson, Gallup, N.M.  Retired from Bethlehem
  Steel Corp., Johnstown.  Member of Trinity United Christ of Church,
  Berlin, having served as deacon and elder, Somerset Lodge 358, F&AM,
  serving as treasurer, Harrisburg Consistory, Jaffa Shrine, Altoona
  and Berlin Sportsman.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. and
  7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will
  be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Carl Schwarm officiating. 
  Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be given
  to Trinity United Church of Christ, Berlin. Masonic service will be
  held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
